On the Road to Monkey Mia
12 November 2022
Saturday morning, we went back to Blue Holes to see what it looked like in low tide. It looked very different, and very cool. Julie thought she could go wading on the limestone with her shoes off… wrong… fell in. You may notice her looking a little wet in the pictures below.
On the way to Monkey Mia, we stopped by the Pink Lake new Port Gregory. It was stunning. The color is from algae that produces beta-carotene, which gives it its color.
We thought this sign was funny.
A sample of the road to Monkey Mia, 2 lanes and not a lot happening.
View from our room at Monkey Mia. It was very windy and cold when we got here. You can see a little of the sunset.
Anthony went down to the beach to get this shot.
