Perth Christmas Parade

Mrs. Clause leads off the parade.
On our way back from the Perth zoo, we saw a huge crowd and checked it out. It was the Perth Christmas Parade. We didn’t want to deal with the crowd so started walking back to our hotel, and were luck to be right in front of the staging area. We were able to watch everything from an elevated platform.

The Raleigh Christmas Parade could learn a thing or two. It did NOT feel like one commercial after another, and folks took real time in their floats. Very impressive. The bands and dance troupes were also a lot of fun, a lot of colored lights and cool costumes. One advantage of having Christmas in the summer is that you can have Christmas parades a night (where you can have lights) and its not too cold.
