Hamner Springs

Hamner Springs is a quaint spa town sandwiched between Christchurch and Kaikoura on our trip. On Thursday we had a rafting adventure down class 3 rapids on the Waiai Uwha River, with a jet boat return.

On Friday, we relaxed at the Hamner Springs Thermal Pools. It was an interesting cross section of Kiwi culture. We enjoyed soaking in the thermal pools, as well screaming down the slides. We got the best air of anyone we saw on the Conical Thrill. We made it to the top of the tear drop.
